Obama, Pelosi, and the (new) relationship between church and state

Recently Nancy Pelosi asked, no, told the Catholic bishops to preach from their pulpits that the immigration reform she’s pushing is “manifesting our living the Gospel“. Obama wants the faith-based initiatives to push his green initiative with the EPA. Whatever happened to the much touted separation of church and state, huh? Well, I’ll tell you what happened: it’s just another ploy from the Saul Alinsky playbook, Rules for Radicals.

Rules for Radicals Alinsky himself used the Catholic Church to set up a massive network of renegade socialist faux priests; he used the Archdiocese of Chicago to spread his poisonous teaching. And he was instrumental in the setting up of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. (Read a post about that.)

So it’s nothing new. The corruption of some Catholics (clergy, religious and laity alike) has been going on for a long time. Since the beginning of the Church, actually. And there will always be apostates, there will always be weeds among the wheat.

(This is just a brief look. I’ll be writing more about this later.)
