Recently Nancy Pelosi asked, no, told the Catholic bishops to preach from their pulpits that the immigration reform she’s pushing is “manifesting our living the Gospel“. Obama wants the faith-based initiatives to push his green initiative with the EPA. Whatever happened to the much touted separation of church and state, huh? Well, I’ll tell you what happened: it’s just another ploy from the Saul Alinsky playbook, Rules for Radicals.
Alinsky himself used the Catholic Church to set up a massive network of renegade socialist faux priests; he used the Archdiocese of Chicago to spread his poisonous teaching. And he was instrumental in the setting up of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. (Read a post about that.)
So it’s nothing new. The corruption of some Catholics (clergy, religious and laity alike) has been going on for a long time. Since the beginning of the Church, actually. And there will always be apostates, there will always be weeds among the wheat.
(This is just a brief look. I’ll be writing more about this later.)
